Question:

How Does One Raise Wild Baby (Field) Mice?

I know this question was asked before, but I wanted to ask one with what I know. I have four baby field mice I acquired yesterday after cleaning a shed in my yard. The mother and other adults darted out the door. I left them in the shed all day thinking the mother would come back, but she didn't. So I have them and been trying to feed them milk (fat free), and they seem to be doing fine. I'd say they're about 1 or 2 weeks old. Eyes are closed and ears are starting to open. I have them in cotton bedding at the moment. Can anyone advise me as to how to care for these mice? Do I feed them milk or water and how often?
