Question:

How Does a Minimum Payment Work? (Order Something from Catalogs)?

I know the difference between a minimum payment and a full payment.

I ordered something off a catalog and I chose the minimum payment since I am a college student. I paid it with my check card. I remember the catalog said 5 payments of $39.99.

Now I don't know if I will receive a bill in the mail for the next 5 months or will they just charge it automatically on the check card?

  1. If you paid with a card ( they don't CARE if it is a credit of debit card), they will charge the card when each payment is due.

Note: A check card and a debit card are the same thing.

  2. Hello my friend,

They will charge your card when the monthly payments are due.

Just make sure you have the money in there for them to take.

If you don't have the money there for them, they may charge you a fee.

Plus your bank will charge you an insufficient funds fee.

    So be careful.

    I hope this helps.
