How Doesn't John McCain Qualify as an Elitist?

He wears $520 imported leather Italian shoes. His wife owns her own plane. They own a parking lot worth $1 million dollars. They own at least 10 houses throughout the US worth $13+ million and John McCain doesn't remember the last time he pumped his own gas or how much it cost.

Isn't McCain Out of Touch with the Average American?

  1. His wife only buys clothing from one designer in france....at 3,000 per outfit. His children have 50,000 credit card balances and racked up 250,000 in credit card debit in 3 months....on shopping sprees. The McCains increased their budget for household employees from $184,000 in 2006 to $273,000 in 2007, according to John McCain’s tax returns.

They have NO Idea what the average american is going through.

  2. Because the things you mention doesn't make one an elitist.  Elitism is an attitude.  I haven't seen anything from McCain to suggest that he thinks he's inherently better than other people.  Obama, on the other hand, clearly disdains the unwashed masses (or rather, the bitter, religious, 2nd-Amendment supporting masses).

  3. He is a total elitist and it shows.  Did you see how incredibly uncomfortable he was trying to be a "regular" guy at the Sturgis motorcycle rally?  Too effin funny!

p.s.  His wife is such an elitist, an overenthusiastic handshake breaks her hand...if that is in fact the true story.

  4. Their all eliteist or puppets to them , they dont give a hoot about the middle class.

  5. his volunteering for the military is a big deal to the average american. it shows he can and has put others before himself. you cannot fault the man for being successful. it is how he portrays himself. bill gates does not come off as elitist but some poor people do.

  6. I have come to the conclusion that all politicians are out of touch with the average American.  We can't really do anything for them, so after they get our vote, then the h**l with us.

  7. He could actually be qualified as clinically insane. He's nearly 300 years old and losing his mind more every day.

He wants to send the average American to war to fight to make his big-business friends richer.

  8. Being an elitest does not have to do with the amount of money you have.  It is an atitude or belief one has.  For instance, someone saying something "I am the one people have been waiting for" would qualify someone as an elitist.  In fact, a poor beggar, with no money, on the street could be an elitist if he thinks he is better than everyone else around him and that he is entitled to something.

your "sorry friend" comment is so immature and petty, it speaks volumes....I am glad you will not be able to erase it.   if you are about 14 years old, don't feel bad, you are acting your age.  however, if you are over 20 and wrote that, i would be concerned.
