How EXACTLY do I drift in my 03 Cobra?

Drifting looks fun, and I want to try it. Obviously this will be done in an empty lot with nothing in the way, I love my car too much to damage it! Just seems like it would be an awesome feeling to nail a perfect drift. Avoid the use of the handbrake technique if possible. And I need detailed answers, nothing short please. I've never done any big drifts before! Just small powerslides.

My car has 545rwhp and is obviously rear wheel drive and has a 6 speed manual.

Also, let's assume I'm drifting a 90 degree angled turn.

Unbelievable. These are some of the worst answers I have ever seen with the exception of @Guest7144. I love how many people suggest using your hand-brake (not drifting at all)when you have over 500 hp on tap. Priceless. Practicing will definitely help but to learn technique attend a clinic in your area. Get info at any drifting or mustang enthusiast forum. Have fun!
