Question:

How Early Should I Be At Warped Tour?

Alright, so I'm FINALLY going to Warped Tour.

The one I'm going to, (in Camden) starts at noon, and to be honest, I was thinking of being there around eight...

Is that ridiculously early? I want to be able to figure out what bands to see and at what times, which stages they're on, etc. And of course, I don't want to be waiting in line for a million years.

So yeah, is eight AM too early?

And one more thing; what should I bring with me?

  1. you should leave you house at  8 & be there no later than 9.

bring a camera for sure!Have FuN!:)

  2. When I Went to warped, we got there about an hour early and yes the line was very long but it also moved very quickly (we probably only waited 20 minutes). So, its really up to you on how early to come.

Also, things I'd recommend to bring:

A bag to put all your merch and whatnot in. Like one of those adidas bags or a backpack (if your venue allows backpacks)

SUNSCREEN (Its been 4 days since my warped and im still paying for not bringing that)

Toilet Paper (The bathrooms are disgusting and WILL run out of it)

And a Water Bottle. Its going to be blazing hot there and water is $3. You can just refill the water you bring at the water fountains. And if all possible, take a second cap because some venues take your caps away.

hope that helps and have fun!

  3. You really need to get there early.  If you get there at 8, you should be fairly close to the front of the line.  Some of the best things at Warped happen right when it starts.  Backpack/purse checks slow down entrance, so the closer you are to the front, the faster you get in.

  4. eight is really early

you should get there at least an hour before the gates open and there are always band lineups sheets at the front. i had to pay 2 dollars for one, but then i found out some ppl got them for free.

you should bring a bag to hold all of your stuff, a camera, and lots of water (water there is expensive!  it was $4)

and put on lots of sunscreen before you go

    have fun!!

  5. Eight is way too early, but you definitely want to go before noon.

I arrived around 11:30 and the lines were almost non-existant, so you really don't have to worry about that. The earliest bands play is usually around 11:15 and one of the bands I really wanted to see was playing around then so I would reccomend arriving around 11, 10:45 at the earliest. That gives you enough time to get in, get used to where everything is, and look at the band schedule.

You should definitely bring a backpack or tote (preferably a backpack because a tote will be h**l to carry) to hold all of your merch, food, water, and anything else you bring. You're going to get extremely dehydrated and want to buy drinks every hour or so, so bring at least $20 for drinks, and probably a good $40 for merch or t-shirts. Also, I would reccomend a camera to take pictures at band meet & greets. It comes in handy. Have fun!
