how easy was it for people in the US to join the air force did they have to go to college? or even school?

  2. Well, from what I understand is that the Air Force is the most selective out off all the branches when it comes to recruitments. You need a High School Diploma at the very least (and score high on the ASVAB), and the percentage of acceptances with a GED are low. So, the answer is a big Yes, you need to have at least High School to get in. I myself have a Bachelor's Degree and am thinking of enlisting in the event that I don't pass the AFOQT with a high enough score. To become an Officer in any branch, you need a B.S. Degree. The Air Force gives priority to Technical Degrees and really high GPA's, so it's not exactly a breeze in the park to get in. The Army is offering me a commission, as is the Navy (I do afterall have a 3.2 GPA and speak 3 different languages), but the Air Force is a bit harder, like I said. Good Luck, though!!!
