How Far Apart Should My Arms Be When Doing Normal Pull-Ups??

Just wondering how far I should distance my arms on a pull-up bar to do a correct pull up HELP ME THANKS.

  2. shoulder width for standard pull ups - that works more diffferent muscles in your back.

    Move your grip in closer to pinpoint your shoulders and out wide to pinpoint your lats

  3. Just as wide as your shoulders. If you do wider ones it might be more effective.

  4. Well that really depends on what part of the back you are working on...  You go really wide to work on your Wings/Lats Close will help with shoulders You have to figure out what you want to improve


  5. Try to change it up some and it will actually be most effective. Just do not increase the spacing to the point that it causes shoulder pain.
