How Far Away From A School Can You Be in Order to Attend?

I live in fort worth texas and attended southwest high school but I have to attend Dunbar next year. I could move with my Grandmother who lives 2.9 miles away from southwest but I don't know if that will be close enough to attend it, HELP PLEASE!!!

  1. I went through some red tape at the AISD to enroll my child in a school outside her district. All I really had to do was state my reason in writing and within a week we were approved.

    My reasons for moving my child outside of her school in to another were very touchy, there was a lot of harassment and physical voilation going on in there. We reported these situations to the office every time and nothing was done.

    I went to the head board with this situation, and they didn't even hesitate  to approve our case.

    No matter the situation I think as long as the persons education is the #1 priority they are willing to work with indeviduals.

    Honestly I think the only time they would deny a case is if a school is over crowded.  

    As long as your willing to make the drive and show up on time Im sure you could attend any school you feel is in best interest for your education.
