  1. Pyle is lower quality driver. The material, frequency range, and design is horrible. You want to get something better. Either get the mid-end range brands which the guy above me has a small list of or you can get some high-end audio equipment made in the USA, Germany, and international acclaimed companies.

  2. If you got No Money, Pyle is Great.

It wont go up against a real sub, like over 100 bucks

But for a 15" under $100?, Pyle is Not Bad

  3. Never heard of it.... I got Alpine subs and amp, they're awesome.

  4. there is a reason its called "pyle"...pyle of ****

  5. do you want good sound? then go with the suggestions of inknowledge.

  6. i'm assuming since you are looking at pyle, you are either new to sound systems or on a tight budget, if you are new, and budget isn't that big of a deal, the better known brands are memphis audio, rockford fosgate, alpine, kenwood etc.  if you are on a tight budget, i would recommend pioneer, sony, or if your budget is smaller than the prices for sony, then i would recommend a set up by power acoustik. 15 inch subs will probably produce a muffled sound quality when turned up high, or it will rattle your trunk too much and you will find yourself tightening up screws more often than you'd want to.  i recommend 2 10's or 2 12's in a ported box, they'll sound nice.

  7. avoid them like the plague,  mediocre at best, flea market grade, bottom rung brand that is very over rated, you would be lucky if they could handle half of the advertised RMS wattage and it would more than likely be distorted (the main cause of sub damage)

you need to stick with CEA-compliant brands- which means that the amps have been tested and produce or exceed the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion and the subs can handle their advertised RMS wattage also

here are the top CEA-compliant brands

    Alpine (highly recommend)

    Bazooka (don't like their subs)

    Blaupunkt (don't like their subs)

    Clarion

    Eclipse

    Infinity (highly recommend)

    JBL

JL Audio (very good but over priced)

    Kenwood (don't like their subs)

Kicker (the best in my opinion)

    MTX (highly recommend)

    Pioneer

    Polk Audio (highly recommend)

    Rockford Fosgate (highly recommend)

    Sony (don't like their subs)
