  1. It's very expensive, but you're nearly guaranteed to get a job there.

The country like Galway,Clare, Mayo, Donegal etc. are much cheaper to live in but you're not always guaranteed a job.

I think you could manage living in Dublin though.

    Good Luck. = )

  2. dublin is the capital so obvioulsly its gona be way more expensive then other cities/towns. if you come down to one of the surrounding counties (all with commuter links to the city centre) then your cost of living will drop a lot. Id recomend Galway over dublin anyway. much friendlier city. still has a friendly irishy vibe about it.  by the way im from neither galway or  dublin. im just telling ya what i know from other people and my experience visiting these places.

  3. Dublin is good to live in provided you have a job which pays enough to feed and house you. Its expensive for accommodation, €1000 approx for a house rental per month in a reasonable area. Food is expensive also but it depends on what you want to eat and where you shop. Average weekly shop for a family is €180 and that wont include any drink. Drink is expensive if you go out to a pub, off licence prices are fairly OK if you want to drink indoors with friends. Against that its a brilliant place to live, the people are lovely and I would not want to live anywhere else.

  4. forget it...the drug gangs have ruined the place..its full of drunks and thugs who d stab you in the head with a screwdriver for your wristwatch..the traffic is awful ,it takes me 4 hours to get to work..and i live 12 miles from dublin..go live in malta or normandy france..dublin  SUCKS!
