I dont think this will answer your question but my mum is always saying i will turn into a pshycopath by playing these games but just recently some smart person proved that these games dont make you want to murder people but p**n does.Hope this helps

I just read an article about a 18 year old student murdered a taxi driver in Bangkok, Thailand. He was "copying" a scene from which the gamers are required to kill someone to get money or whatever. One precious,innocent life of a person just lost like that. There was about 700000000 of GTA sold worldwide...just think about this: if one game is equal to loss one person's life, how scary is that?! The game has been criticized for it unhealthy issues (e.g. prostitution, murder, violence, robbery, drug). Some of you might disagree with me, but I truly truly think that this type of games which containing excessive elements as mentioned above, should be banned from the market. Yes, what I say might sound harsh(of which I'm sure it'll be more than "harsh") and I'm sure that I will be getting a lot of bad ratings for what I say. But I'm only saying what I think. These type of games might be "look" so "its-nothing-I'm-just-playing" kinda thing to many people, but actually, when you play it for a loooooong period, it actually WILL affect(or a more precise word: CORRUPT) your brain...human brains are like that. Strange huh?  Mind you, and whoever it  may concern, he actually stabbed the taxi driver about 10 times...All that just because he was so crazy about video games like GTA...how sad! See the consequences of being too addicted towards those games that contains excessive violence? These games will affect, corrupt your mind and thinking and, eventually "damage" your whole life(if you're not careful)...

It depends upon your mind. If u take this game as for fun sake then there will be no affects.If you take it as a revenge, or any other angry intentions then you will suffer. Games are just played for fun. Dont take it serious. some days ago in china there was a guy playing GTA : SA. He used to sit in PC for max 4-5 hrs. One day he ran outside and started killing people with things whatever he got at the spot. so take it as fun. CHINA banned the game GTA SA.

i don't think that grand theft auto can affect anyone this way , but if it does , then its probably getting rid of the police really easily and getting away with the victim's money
