  1. I get so annoyed at drivers that are yakking on their cell phone. Sometimes I just want to grab the phone and hit them in the head with it. I almost got hit yesterday by a lady on a cell phone. We were on a four lane highway and I was in the right lane and she was in the left lane. There was a wreck blocking my lane so I gave my signal to move over in front of her. She left a little bit of space so I thought she was letting me in but then she starting taking off and almost hit me. I started fussing at her and she gave me a look like OMG I did not see you!!! Yeah, of course she did not see me she was too busy yakking away on her cell phone and was not paying attention to what was going on in front of her.

  5. ah yes , But you forget the people who .. Read the paper while driving , Ladies who put on make up , an others who are just stupid !!

  6. Cellphone use while driving is an offense in many states now.   I think that they will outlaw it in all states if enough people complain.   England already has.

  7. Can't say how difficult it would be,  but it is obvious that many are not smart enough to realize IT'S A CAR --  NOT A FRIGGIN' PHONE BOOTH.

At the very least,   they need a hands free device to allow them to turn their heads and have both hands available.

blackjesuz7,  that's a crock!!   You don't have to do anything that jeopardizes safety.    That phone has caller id,  you can call them back or you can get a hands-free if you haven't already.    Your attitude is part of the problem,  so learn this ---  You carry that phone for your convenience,  not to allow others to control your life.

  8. Most states actually have you pull over and talk or have a headset on while driving.  I know in the state of Illinois that you have to have it on a charger while you drive but you still can answer the phone.  Most of the time it's an important phone call that you can't ignore or if you're like me your cell phone is the only phone you got.

  9. Well from what I have seen, I believe that it is surgically attached on some people.

  10. personally I DO NOT own a cell phone, I feel that they are an invasion of privacy.  Try going fishing on a boat, you are really enjoying your peace of mind and then "RING" your boss wants you to come to work today on your deserved day off!  Yes, I would also like to be an unmarked cop, and bust all those ding-a-lings talking and texting behind the wheel, take their phones and tell them 500.00 or grind their phone in front of them with my shoe into the roadway.

  11. 1. Where I live (California) no law exists yet. Not until 7-1-08

    2. I drive competently and talk on the phone all the time. The PROBLEM is, since I drive within the speed limit and come to a COMPLETE stop when required, most people think I am driving that way because I'm on the phone........

    3. The vast majority of my calls are business related. I am not just chatting because I'm bored.

    4. When I see a call is from a child or wife, I usually wait and call back when stopped.
