  1. Depends on how much you need the job.

Also consider the relative humidity, and the percautions the employer offers in such situations.

  2. over 99 degrees

  3. By law you can work in any condition as long as you have ventalation and water.  And even these laws have exeptions dependent on pay and other factors.

Unfortunetly, you have no legal way of refusing to work if they have kept to the law.  Unless you are willing to look all of them up and press the matter.

  4. People can die of heat stroke at 30C if they are not properly hydrated, are exposed directly to the sun without appropriate clothing or umbrellas and particularly with high humidity and do too much exertion.

People accustomed to working in hot deserts, heavily but loosely  dressed and well hydrated will survive working very slowly in 50C with very low humidity.

Most often, harm begins when one stops sweating. The sweat glands stop putting out sweat when hydration is failing. There is no simple answer to this other than you need to be sweating, your body temp must stay below 39C.

You can get hotter at lower temperatures and stay comfortable at higher temps.

Workers who do not know how to look after themselves should not go to work outside.

  5. It varies from person to person but 97 degrees is enough to refuse to work outside.
