How I export GIF files better looking from Photoshop CS3?

Hello!

I'm making a website layout. I want to export some files in GIFF format (transparent) from Photoshop CS3, but when I do that all the gradient shapes are look ugly :(

I don't want to export in PNG file! :D

Can anybody help me, please?

  1. GIFF file Gradients will look ugly because they are low resolution exports.


  2. When you save file make sure you save it in Gif Format.....

    To save gif Click save as Gif from drop down list

    then save it in a higher resolution whatever opption is available

    If still dint find solution try downloading gif software

    yu cn also use paint.net is free.....................

  3. They do look uggly!  The transparencies always leave random pixels visible.

    - During your design, use a contrasting bkg to see these pxls, and erase them by hand (pencil eraser, one pixel wide.  Not a brush: it creates anti-aliaising than creates fawl pixels)

    - Don't "save for the web": "save as".  Check transparencies, check NO DITHERING, select INTERLACED.

    - Upload to your server an check.

    - You may have to do it more than once, often correcting YOURSELF the "dithering" on the borders
