  1. i've had my subs hooked to my computer before,  but i had my amp hooked too.  what you need to do it properly is a 115-12v power inverter(radioshack) and a car battery, both to hook up to the amp. the car battery powers the amp and the inverter puts a charge on the battery. all the nesacary wires from the amp to the speakers. off your computer IF YOU DONT HAVE RCA JACKS ON THE COMPUTER  you need a stereo to rca plug turns rca cables to a plug for computers and other small speakers, looks like head phone jack. YOU can get one at radioshack too  run that from your computer to your amp any now your ready.

  2. Yeah, yeah plug em in ok but they wont sound any good unless you fit an amplifier. The PC only has a small amp and just wont power your bigger car speakers, thats why many PC speakers have a high voltage lead to power them as well as the PC audio  cable. Better to connect PC output to stereo aux input and blow the neighbors out of the street.

  3. Sounds like you need a 3.5mm to RCA stereo cable.  That will allow you to use the 3.5mm headphone-style plug into the Speaker or Line Out jack on your computer and connect it to the RCA input jacks that are usually labeled AUX,GAME or TAPE on your stereo or receiver.  Providing it has one.  Do not try to plug speakers directly into your computer, you may damage your sound card.

  4. Well you can get an AV cable and connect that to the aux connection in the back of the speaker, and the other end in the audio connection for the computer.
