Our wedding anniversary. My husband and I have been married 5 years. We can go out to dinner and stuff like that. But I need something exciting.... Something that will leave him thinking WOW.

WE went back to our honey moon location for the 5th. You might consider "re-doing" the honeymoon.

a beautiful romantic place with beautiful music(maybe a ferry? ) or a nice walk , stars shining bright above you. not exrtaordinary but romantic, and romantic places make you say WOW ...

After dinner you can take him to the hotel/motel room you have already

reserved with the wine and whipped cream and the lingerie for the both of you.

Do something completely romantic. If you have kids, get a sitter. Then, order in food to your house. Set up a ton of candles all over the dining room and bed room. Set up dinner, and then you tell him to get ready for dinner and all of that. You get all pretty, and come into the dining room in a pretty black nighty. he will be so ready to get finished with dinner, and will remember how much time you speant making this special for him.
