  1. Well at 16 I Had..

    a job

    a car

    my laundry to do

    dishes to clean

    my room to clean

and i would always manage to do something extra to keep my mom happy

however my mom did still cook diner for the whole family but i was on my own for breakfast and lunch, and i was not expected to pay rent, i did have to pay for my cell phone bill

and I would start thinking about college right now, start looking into which one you want to go to, community, state university, out of state college, etc... and than figure out the cost

and i am only 18 right now, so this wasn't too long ago

  2. if ur 16 ur not in college yet, at least not in america. u shld be ironing ur own clothes and driving and helping cooking and think about getting a job.

  3. you should iron your own clothes.

    clean your own room/house.

get a job and saving your money.

    drive your own car.

and i'm planning on putting myself through college but thats something you need to talk to your parents about.

  4. Being independent is great!  Later in life you will have it easy.  You mother is just afraid of you not being with her.  Remember tell her every single day, "I love you"

  5. I'm sixteen and I:

-have a job where I work a minimum of 15 hours a week

-have a car, which I pay for and the gas that I use

    -clean my own room

    -do my own laundry

-take care of my two cats

-provide my own breakfast and lunch

-provide all my own personal care items

-babysit every weekend in addition to my job

-cell phone is paid by me (partly)
