Question:

How Is Gun Control Logical?

To me, it makes sense that if I own a gun, I am less likely to be attacked because the criminal doesn't know whether I am carrying or not. But if it is against the law for me to own a gun, who will protect me when a criminal, who could care less about the law and can get a gun through illegal means, attacks me?

  1. The problem is that it IS logical. Gun-control liberals can't comprehend logic. They're too wrapped up in eroding our civil liberties and Constitutional rights.

  2. It's not logical at all. That's why they IGNORE all the evidence to the contrary.... like the high crime in DC versus having the most restrictive gun bans.

Nor is it logical for them to parade that vegetable Jim Brady around as their spokesman when he was NOT shot with an assault weapon, NOR was he shot with ANY of the "banned" calibers of "scary" weapons.

Brady was shot by a .22 pistol....

ONLY to a liberal could it make sense that you are some how "safer" when you are guarenteed to be DEFENSELESS!

  3. The logic goes like this:

No Guns = No Shooting of Guns = No One Dying from Gun Shootings.

Of course, you've pointed out the biggest logical argument against gun control.  There is no guarantee that people would obey gun control laws, and in fact, the people that are most targeted by such laws are least likely to follow them.

  4. they have no logic(those who want gun control)they react with emotions only...they are fools

  5. If everyone had a gun, violence would be free-for-all

its ridiculus to think that everyone sould be able to carry guns

  6. I think there should be gun control but not actually BAN guns. I think it's similar to a car. Anyone behind the wheel of a car can kill someone. It's more about who you allow to actually OWN the car that matters more.

  7. Barack Obama, of course.  He will hope for change and all the criminals will mend their ways and turn in their guns and go stand in line for some of that good ol' fashioned socialized health care.

  8. You're correct.    That guy who shot up the church, there's no way he'd have gone into a rifle range to try to do the same thing.

  9. it's not, "guns don't kill people, people kill people"  gun control makes as much sense as drilling for more oil...it doesn't solve the problem.  next thing you know, they'll say we should print more money to save the economy.

  10. I'm not very anti gun, but I'm still anti gun and this is what I believe.  Big time criminals will find a way to get a gun but lots of petty thieves won't get one.  Even if you have a gun and you were attacked by someone else with a gun, it's still to dangerous to get into a gun fight.  It's much safer just to hand over your money.  I think that biggest benefit of getting rid of guns is that redneck idiots who thinks guns equal power will not be able to get a gun so they won't accidentally hurt themselves or others.  Also, getting rid of guns will prevent good people from doing something they regret in a moment of rage.  One of the best example I can think of was when someone tried to assassinate Reagan.  A guy named John Hinckley tried to kill the president to show his love for some actress.  If guns where outlawed guys like him wouldn't have been able to do what he did.
