I guess it's our Yaqeen on something. When we expect something out of them then Allah makes it come true." Ana enda zani abdi be" ( I am to my servant expectations).

    Allahu alam.

Edit: Bro Ismail where will u get crows from in Saudi, lol????????

  3. lol, yes it a superstition.

  4. I don't believe in these things,

    thoes R  superstitions

and no superstition in Ilam yes Rsulullah (s) said

(لا طيرة ولاهامة ولا صفر ، وكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يحب الفأل

those r superstitions among the Arab at Jahilyah so Rasulullah (s) denied all of them bird flying, owl,Month of Safar 2end month in the Islamic calender . but in the same time he agreed in the good expectation out of it  that is (Fa'al)

it is true what sister Hanabee said, some time it happens with some of us, but we should not look at it n that manner if it was bad, but if it is good thing we shuold hope and expect good from Allah.

Brother Ismail : it nice to see indian origin crow in our land all of them r pilgirms Lol we should take care of tham they R our guest Lol

  5. :) its just a superstition..

even it we can relate good or bad to it,it is just coincidence..I have had flicks, but nothing good or bad happened:)

Also,we tell that if your inner hand is itching,we will get some money..Well,but for my uncle whenever his palm itches,he loses lot of money..lol..

  6. omg this is total bullcrap, rofl, just some shittysupterstitions :P

  7. Different places have different superstitious beliefs, none of which are true. for example, in indo/pak area some people believe that if you wink at someone then they will start liking you (yeah that's your love potion). You can find different meanings to same things in different cultures. Look at palm reading for example, many cultures do it and they all come up with a different prediction based on the same lines.

It's all superstition and unislamic. There is no way to tell the future and there is no one who can tell the future. This knowledge is only with Allah. Anyone who believes in anything or anyone claiming to know the future is committed the sin of disbelief (in islam).

  8. umm no offense. but u actually believe in that?

    lol

  9. When crows cry they say guests would come.

When children make hiccups, they say something stolen is eaten.

When black cat crosses, they say the day has gone bad.

I know most are just a traditional sayings rather than a belief. It varies from place to place.  It will be wrong and a form of Shirk to believe in anything like that for real.

Edit: Sister Hanabee, the crows and cows are in India LOL... Some pious crows are here in Jeddah too, which came in the Indian Haji ships.

  10. superstitions are superstitions, nothing real.
