How Josep Guardiola has been lining his team up? (Part 1)
The Spanish Champions bought two new players during the summer transfer window. While a lot of people criticized Josep Guardiola’s decision over not signing a centre back, Josep Guardiola still decided to buy a midfielder and a striker.
Guardiola is a coach who likes to experiment. In his last three seasons, the Catalan coach has made at least one big signing to change his approach in the attack. He believes that while there is competition up front, the players score more goals in order
to keep a first team place for themselves.
In his first season in charge, Josep Guardiola played a 4-3-3 formation and only changed the style of play. Barcelona started to play “tiki-taka” and that was how they going to win games – keep possession for a long time, tire the opposition and move the
ball in the opponent’s territory in order to score more goals.

With this team, Barcelona won six trophies in a single season. Josep Guardiola had everything he required. A replacement for each and every position, the squad depth and just about everything a team needed to be perfect. However, he still decided to change
things round.
The Catalan coach sold off one of his best strikers – the player who scored in the UEFA Champions League final, Samuel Eto’o. The Catalan coach was heavily criticized over his decision to sell Samuel Eto’o as he bought the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029.
The Swedish striker did not really work with the Barcelona system. He was slower than what was required from a striker at the Spanish club but Josep Guardiola still managed to win the Spanish La Liga without Samuel Eto’o.
Ibrahimovic was still trying to adapt with the Spanish style of play, but http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pedro-c29582 Rodriguez showed his traits throughout the season as he came off the bench and scored more than twenty goals for Barcelona.

as they Jose Mourinho was just too great a tactician and Barcelona lacked that “fire power” in the attack as Zlatttans Ibrahimovic failed to impress throughout his time at Barcelona.
