How Likely Is It To Get A Negative Preg. Test After Missed Period & Be Pregnant?

Everyone I have spoke to has said that I'm just having a late period... when that never happens.. I have taken a test everyday for a week.. yesterday i was supposed to start my period. So, is it possible to be pregnant and the First Response Test giving a neg???

I got a negative test when I was about 2 weeks late. I now have 5 month old identical twin boys! Blood tests from the dr are more accurate. HPT can be wrong. A negative doesnt always mean a negative but its rare to get a false positive! So you should try again in a few days. Use 1st pee in the morning. Good luck!

You're only a day late and you're worried about being pregnant? Stop freaking yourself out! The reason you're a day late is probably because you're stressed about being pregnant. I can almost guarantee you're not pregnant. First response is the best at home test out there. It has always been accurate for me. If you still don't believe anyone, go get checked in a clinic.

Yes, if your period still hasn't started, then test again in a week. Perhaps your pregnancy hormones are not strong enough to show up on the test.

this had also happend to me.  i was only 12 when i experienced this but i've gotten my period when i was 10.  i had symptoms of being pregnant, and i took the test and it was negative. my sons dads mom took me to the doctors and said i was pregnant.  so yeuh, probably was a late period.  and now i have a healthy 7 months old son :)

it might take a while for the pregnancy test to detect it so its best to take it on your first p**s in the morning.

yes it happened to me on my son i took a test two days after my period was due and it was neg went to my docs a week later she did one and it was pos ive a beauitful 4 month old sons sean now

Well 10 to 12 days after you had s*x you can take a test! I don't know when you did that, but i would say take a Clear Blue test! First Response gave me a false twice!! Well Good Luck

I'd say your not pregnant....every time I used a pregnancy test it was accurate. First response is the best! I would say a late period too. good luck!
