How Long Do Foods Put In A Freezer Last??

Okay I live with my 92 year old grandpa, and he freezes EVERYTHING! Like right when he buys bread or pie or anything he immediately puts it in the freezer...then when he makes soup or anything he keeps enough out for one meal and then freezes the rest....how long will all this last??

It really depends on what the frozen food is meat , bread etc....typically 6months to a year.  It's not that the food will really go bad. It just get's freezer burnt and the texture might be off.

It depends on the food.  And it depends on what it is stored in.  You should get a good cookbook like Better Homes and gardens Cookbook and look it up or find it online.  It's not killed him yet so I'd say he's doing alright.  What really changes is the quality of the food.  The texture and flavor are going to change.
