  1. First you'd need to know if you have a male and female. Next their age would be good to know too. Usually a good age for quakers to breed is 18 months. Quakers lay anywhere up to 7 eggs in a clutch (usually around 5 is common), and they hatch after 24 days. The female will lay one egg every other day, and start to incubate after the second or third egg is laid.

  2. Place a box in with them a big box. If they lay eggs it will be around 10 days after mating. They will hatch if fertile around 21 days depending on how warm or cool it is in the room they are kept. But I can tell you from experience quaker babies won't be heard crying for food until around 3 weeks old. I suggest setting them up to breed then only fooling with them to change their food and water and to clean their cage up, never looking into the box. The longer you leave them alone the more babies and faster they will have. All in all around 3 months after the mating takes place to leave them alone. Once you hear the babies crying for food from their parents it will be safe to take the babies for hand feeding.

Quakers are known to break the eggs or kill babies if bothered too much during breeding. So be careful to remember to leave them alone. And good luck!
