I have an ordinary boiler. Not a combi or anything special. If I set the timer to heat up the water before I wake up, how long before I wake up do I need it to switch on to fully warm the water?

  1. If this is a building heat water boiler. and It is fired with gas, Then you can turn it on and watch it fire. When the fire cycles off, it has reached its heated temp. Check the time it took. Use that as your guide. But to have the house warm by the time you get up, might take it a few "on- off" cycles depending on how cold your weather is that morning.
