  1. I feel fine about picking my snakes  up after they've eaten , I'm just very gentle and don't have them out for long if they've still got a visible lump. I usually leave them alone for several days, but am not bothered about picking them up if I want. They don't seem at all bothered or uncomfortable, unless its a big meal in which case they may be tired. If it's been 3-4 days then I really don't think it matters.

  2. you should probably wait about 2 days after the feeding. i have a ball python along with a cream sickle corn snake and i wait about 2 days with the both of them.

  3. I would recommend leaving her/him alone for 2 days so he/she can digest the food. Then after that you can pick her/him up but play "rough" with it(like running down stairs to get to the door or something) But after that she/he would be fine with being held. =] Hope this could help you a bit

  4. i would leave it for 3 days if you can but if you really need to 1 day would be ok if it necessary

  5. hi, i have a boa and i can pick it up 2 hours after and its fine but royals can be a bit fussy on the eating so would leave at least 24 hour, as its your first snake dont let the royal put you off when it dont eat from time to time it just the norm for them they are great snakes otherwise.
