How Long Will My 8.4v 1800 MAH battery last in my air-soft gun (approximation)?

I charged the battery and it worked for about 20 min, but then when I was firing on full auto the trigger on the AEG would not pull back. I Checked the barrel for jams. Is it realistic that my battery is dead already or is there possibly an internal problem? any advice is greatly appreciated! (if it helps the gun is an G&G GR16 A3)

20 minutes is about right. But, charging a battery pack is a science. 1st make sure when you are charging it, there is ample air flow around the battery so it doesn't get too hot while charging. Use a cooling rack or some type of heat sink. 2nd make sure that the battery is as cool as it can get before inserting it and using it. Heat is a culprit in ruining batteries.
