How Long does it take to repair your credit score?

I'm going to apply as a first-time owner and upon speaking to a mortgager I was told that I had to increase my credit score in order for them to work with me. or have 15% down payment of the home I wish to buy. Does it still take years before the credit score is improved?

  1. Nope, it depend on your income and your personal debts. Free of debts will be the best.

  3. There is some simple stuff you can do right away which will enhance your credit score in a matter of months. For example, get a gas credit card, and pay on time each and every month. More examples are available in the credit secrets bible.  

  4. It depends on how bad it is to begin with and how devoted you are to raising it. Everytime you have somebody look into your credit... it takes a hit.
