I lived in Berwick Nova Scotia for a while and the blue berry season starts mid to late June and is done by mid Aug.They don't bloom until May depending on the weather so tough to pick something that isn't in fruit stage yet.The pay can be good if you are a clean picker as it goes by volume and not by hours of picking,the Annapolis Valley would be your best bet to find work as many of the farms hire to work on all the seasonal fruits and vegetables to harvest from the fields
