How Long would it take to get from Avalon airport to Mt Buller?

How long would it take to travel from Avalon airport to mt Buller. and what would be the best form of transportation. we dont have a car (coming in from WA) but might higher one, or is it best to catch buses and coaches to the mountain.

if possible prices for each as well - not rental prices, jus fairs.
