If you missed nearly 80% of your scheduled duties at your place of employment, would you still have a job - or you would be promoted?

Luckily Barack Obama is employed by the people of the United States as a member of the Senate. This affords him record high absences during: "Issues he did not cast ballots for ranging from the symbolic to the significant."

Let's do the math, shall we?

365 Days in a Year

-

144 Days Off (52 Weekends + 2 Weeks Vacation)

=

241 Days Worked by the Average American

If You're Obama:

You would average 48.2 Days Worked Yearly.

  1. Hmm, I've only missed about 2 days a year. I've been working for the past 5 years. And I don't get vacation time (I live with my elderly great grandma 12 hours a day- which I consider to be work since she's pretty much bed ridden unless Someone lifts her out, feeds her, ect.) So in total.. I've missed... 10 days out of 1825 days possible. =:)

  2. altogether in this year i have only missed 3 days w/out pay.

  3. What are you, trying to be funny?  Obama does more in an hour than you do all year, slacker.  Other than decimating the economy, sending thousands of young American men off to die, and making the US the laughingstock of the international community, how much work has Bush done over the past 8 years?

  4. I have been in the workforce for 22 years. I never called in sick until last - year I called in one day. I have taken all my vacation that has come my way. It is a record that I am very proud of.

  5. Marriage and Divorce?

I have missed 0 days of work in the last few years. But then again, I can't afford to miss as many days as he can.
