  4. ooh fun question

i have 4 tanks, one isnt set up at all, 3 of them are 2 footers and the other is a 4 footer, oscars and a pleco are in the 4 footer, theyve been in that tank for about a year and a half to 2 years, then one of the 2 footers has goldfish, a black moor named google, a shubunkin named yahoo, 3 fantails named pinky, wacko and yacko, a pleco named dot and a neon, 3 loaches (eels) and some snails that just showed up one day and started reproducing like crazy, the other 2 footer is empty right now but we're going to be putting an axolotl in it named zoidberg. and a couple apple snails in there with him.

gonna get another goldfish for our goldfish tank and name him brain, to go with our pinky.

i have 2 bettas too, i think killer is a crowntail but walker is just a regular sailfin i think it is.  i love my fish

  6. Too many!

    1 x 100 gal

    1 x  95

    1 x  60

    1 x 29

    2 x 20

    1 x 75

Several smaller ones that get used as I need them

Various 1 gallon jars for growing plants and daphnia, as well as acting as emergency shelter for newborns as necessary.

I started about 14 or 15 years ago with platies. My favourites are guppies, platies and various cichlids. I also like bettas and various species of plecos. I will get baby fish at our fish club auction, grow them out, try to breed them, then sell them or give them away to make room for the next ones I want to try.

My favourite is, I think, the kribensis (Pelvicachromis pulcher), a dwarf cichlid from the Niger River in Africa. Quite colourful, especially when spawning or guarding their fry. Fairly peaceful for a cichlid. Easy to breed and rear. Fascinating family behaviour.

I also usually have live plants and various snails in most of my tanks.

    I am obviously a "fishaholic". I love it...very relaxing.

I also have various containers for raising different worms & other live foods.

  7. how many tanks i have running is one thing, how many o own is another altogether. currently i have running 4 tanks, soon to be 5.

    2 3 gallons, 1 18g and 1 9g. soon to get a 42g.

currently i don't own anything that special. in one 3g i have 2 siamese algae eaters (as a last resort), in the other 3g i have a fancy goldfish (temporary, getting a 20-30g for free, just need to pick it up), in my 18g i have a ton of guppy fry maturing (i used to breed), 5 rummynose tetras and 3 black kuhlie loaches (aka java loaches) and in my new 9 gallon i have 4 male guppies cycling the tank. i'm not sure of what will happen in the future, once i get the 42g and once the guppy fry go. i'm interested in kribensis, GBR's, angelfish and more.

the three gallons i'm not sure of, not that long. my 18g has been running for... over a year now. my 9g has been running for about a month.

    your tanks sound great :)
