How Many g*y Couples Have Children?

Is it comon for g*y couples to have children?

not together ofcourse, but through adoption or even a previous fling.

I offer childcare to a g*y couple and while I could careless what happens in the bedroom, it's the child that's my main concern. With 2 mommies to hold him all the time it is ruining him. They are now realizing this and trying to fix it after they have done it for almost 2 years.  Bu ruining him I mean he is not capable of controlling his emotions if he is not being held. I am very patient and in order to help this child I will continue to be but I hope all g*y couples consider the future and don't do it for selfish reasons (I don't think this couple was selfish but I also don't think they considered the outcome).
