How Many Islands do Earth Have? both high and low tide? :)

depends what you define an island to be....any land mass that is still showing at high tide.....any land mass still showing at high tide with a tree atleast 4 feet tall (Bermuda's definition) or any land mass with any plant on it that is still showing at high tide......is there an upper limit on how large the island can be or does australia count as well.....lots of specifics go into this question but the answer remains the same....A LOT!
