I tried one time and I stop counting after like 320 licks, so it takes an unknown number of licks. It all depends on how long and hard your passes are, the temperature of your mouth and how big your mouth is.

my whole science class did this and our results were somewhere between 700 and 400 licks... personally, i got 580.
