Question:

How Many People Is Too Many For This Planet?

With the population rising exponentially to unprecedented levels, when can we expect to reach a limit for the planet? Or perhaps we cannot exceed the limit if the death rates outmatch the birth rates.

But with better access to health care and better nutrition (ok not available everywhere), is that possible? Will we have to start looking elsewhere in the galaxy for a second home or can a carefully managed catastrophe- read into that what you will, alleviate pressure on the Earth and reduce our ever growing numbers.

  1. We already have populated most of the parts of our planet, but the population can grow bigger until there is absolutely no place to live (then we would have people living in harsh climate like too hot or too cold).

The actual number is hard to define but it'll be something like 11 billion (which is estimated to actually happen in 30 years).

Then we would have to either kill each other(dramatic) or find another planet to start living on...

  2. And when will we run out of plants? Are we destroying nature to build homes and products or are we invading our own environment and destroying ourselves?

  3. this is a scary thought to think about, but we currently have 6 billion people, i think 7.5 billion is already a critical point. but dont worry (or do ) we will start a nuclear war long befor that and exterminate ourselves.
