How many triangles are there in this hexagon?

I got as far as 37 but wondered if anyone else could find anymore?

Is there a mathematical way to do this?!

there 9 diagonals in a hexagon.. so far. i counted .. 16, sometimes 18, sometimes 22 or 24..
