How Many USB Network Adapters Can I Use, On One PC ?

Basically, I Have Two USB Networks Adapters, on Linksys, The Other D-Link. I`m Running Vista, and Have A Hard Time On The Internet. I Would Like Too Know If You Can Connect, Both Adapters To The Machine Too Somewhat Help Out With The Network Internet Connection, Or Is That Just A Problem With My OS ?
