The clear contacts are the cheap kind. well cheaper than the colored ones. It also depends on how much you use. Like it says to throw it out every two weeks and you normally get 3 pairs in a box. I don't do that until they rip or its uncomfortable so mine last about 4 months. I'm not sure which brand is the cheapest. i think u should expect to pay 20+
