I've got beanie babies, crazy bones, original pokemon cards.

How much are these worth on average?

And where can these things be sold other than ebay?

  1. Original Pokemon cards depend on which card and condition. Some will fetch $1,200+ for a first appearance of a character.

Beanie babies are a dime a dozen for commons, rares depend on individual beanies.

Other venues to sell are flea markets or your local paper, but top dollar would be eBay.

  2. Beanie Babies are getting worth less and less every day.

Some collectables that seem to be worth value are Lego Star Wars http://starwarslegocollectables.blogspot... Some minifigures are being bought for over $100 each now.

  3. Probably not much more than what you paid for them if you are lucky.  Collectibles that were very popular at one time, rarely bring much money.  If they do it's usually over a very long time (long enough for many people to lose them or throw them away).

  4. Hi Joe,

The best way to determine the value is to go look at what people are actually paying.

The easiest way is to use ebay to get the value.

    1. Log in

    2. Do a search for the item.

    3. Click the 'Completed Items' checkbox (this is why you needed to log in)

    4. Click the 'Show Items' button.

Now you will see completed auctions.  If the dollar amount is in red, then the item did not sell.

You will see that most beanies go for under $5, but check all of yours, because several do go fo much more money.

This method of determining value is SO much more accurate than any online price lists.

Can you sell elsewhere?  Sure!  Craig's list is one venue.  But use this search method anyway to make sure you do not let something go for just a few bucks when it might be worth more.

    Good luck!
