  1. You are going to be looking at 299 + taxes and up from there.  This depends on the line you choose and the length of the trip.  If you pick a Carnival 4 - day sailing you will get one of the better rates, but if you go for Holland America Line's 4-day (which are only in Jan) then you will be paying more cause they are a premium line.

  2. It really all depend on several things. If you are able to go at the last minute you can get some real good deals. Also the port you sail out of makes a difference. I live in the Tampa Bay area and sailed out of the Port Of Tampa in September on a 5 day cruise to Mexico. It cost a total of $535.00 for me and my husband together. That was an outside cabin on an upper level. We have sailed for as little as 250 per person and we have paid as much as 800 per person. It all depends.

My advice to you would be to check out the Cruises to Go web site and each cruise lines web site. They can give you some great deals. Also remember that starting January 1st 2007 you will need a passport to get into any of the Bahama or Mexican islands.

  3. Well, depending on how you worded your question, "how much does a cruise ship cost for traveling to the Carribean under running and maintenance fees?" That can be anywhere from $15,500 a day to $45,700 a day. This depends on the type of cruise ship and the ports-of-call.

On the other note, "How much is a ticket to the Carribean?" This too depends on what line you decide to travel through. Sometimes, certain vessels don't depart from every location, you, the traveler must take a plane or train to a certain city and then get to the wharf. There are varying package deals as well. You might be able to get a car to the wharf for $50 to $100 a day, usually under that cost, and then the trip details could be anywhere from $1200 to $6000+, depending on what suite you registered for.

Many cruise lines do package deals in the winter months for traveling. This time of the year, being colder, the cost comes down on some cruise lines. Others, go up, considerably. About ten years I was invited on a cruise to Massachusetts, via a plane ride up there and travel to the dock by car. That was taken care of by the club, however, the voyage was $5520 per person.

Many cruise lines issue their prices accorrding to the stats of travel, "where people want to go at this time of year," "Where people want to go for ports-of-call" and the like. Many lines follow trends, while others, still, have their own philosophies. Cunard, for instance who merged with the White Star Line back years ago, under the new name Cunard/White Star has the Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth 2 which operated year 'round at extensive prices. Last year, the QM2 had an unbelievable low at $1300 per person, which wasn't great, but in it's own way was.

So, that's about it. You can call cruise lines reps for more info usually, or book through a travel agency. Word of warning, however, some companies can rook you over going through either / or, so, just make sure before you go, you do your research thoroughly before deciding who to go with.

Good luck to you and enjoy your passage.

    Happy Holidays!

  6. i am a travel agent for a real qoute call me at 1800 668- 6414

ext 149. it all depends on the cruise line, and lenght of cruise.

  7. I'm assuming you are asking what a cruise vacation would cost.  The length of time and the number of ports will make you cost vary.  Look up cruises on expedia or orbitz.  Then you have to add you flight to the departure port and your extra costs on board.  For a seven day cruise for two who enjoy cocktails, add about $2,000 dollars for extras if your careful.  The little things really add up!

  8. A cruise ship capable of going to the Carribean is going to cost you several hunderd million dollars, depending upon its age and the last time it was thoroughly disinfected.

  9. if you are just coming from colorado, it may cost you around 200 dollars excluding allowance, per day
