A lot because when i was watching a Nationals game on sunday and i saw Ronnie Belliard chewing gum and sunflower seeds on the field.

players spit on the ground, they dont take the time to put it under the bench.  And im sure they are kept very clean.

Haha. I don't want to even look under the benches. I agree with Sandman, they probably just throw it on the ground and then it gets cleaned up.

my guess would be none because the players dont care so they probably spit everything either in the trash or on the floor. and the teams pay people to have those dugouts clean as a whistle everyday.
