How Much Is A Speeding Ticket?

I was pulled over today for doing 66 in a 45 in Marietta GA . What will the fine be? It's my first ticket ever. What are the chances of the cop showing up on my court date? If he doesn't, does that mean the charges will be dropped? It there any way that I can contest the ticket, or not get points on my license or let the insurance company find out? Any help will be great, thanks.

well a whole bunch of factors will affect it. going 21 miles over and depending on what kind of street and if it was in a residential zone. But the ticket will most likely stand because the fact you were going 21 miles over the speed limit. And expect it to be a hefty fine.

What is going on in Marietta?? I got a ticket about 4 weeks ago too in Marietta. They cop says I was going 66 in a 35 but dropped it down to a 62 in a 35. My ticket is 196.00 bucks. I am debating on paying it because I know for a fact that I was not speeding. I am also thinking about going to court as well. I wish you good luck as well!
