You will get people telling you that you can't get inside the stones, anyone can. You need to apply to English Heritage* (the link to the form is below), however it is normally fully booked weeks ahead, There are several tour companies who have places on ‘special access’ visits, I have indicated one. If you book yourself through English Heritage it costs £12 per person, I believe the tour company I list asks £55.  The most up to date reading on Stonehenge is also listed. Hope you enjoy your visit
