How Much Is a BigMac at Cape Town?

I want to know this so I can have an idea how much a dollar can buy at southafrica.... little help please.

Last time I was there we bought 3 people (myself, cousin and bro) something from Mc Donald's and it came to R62 but that was some time ago.

I think R25 ... for the meal without upsizing

Petrol is about R10 a liter

A loaf of bread is about R8

and 2 liters of milk is about R15

We work in liters not gallons and kgs not pounds, I found that USA was MUCH MUCH cheaper than South Africa

Since everyone is mentioning Steers, a Steers burger is about R30 WITHOUT the chips & coke

At Spur (resturant) I had a steak & chips last week for R50, it was on special. Add a glass of coke for R10

Wimpy (resturant) was the same price for a steak & chips R50 and it was not on special. Add a glass of coke for R10

2 liters of Coke is about R15, but Pepsi and no-name brands (store brands) are under R10 for 2 liters

Whatever the cost is it is TOO MUCH -

Like MJ says - go Steers - chewing on the polystryene Steers box is tastier than a BigMac

Probably about $3 - for a BigMac Meal

I know S.A. has burgers with REAL meat so why would you want to buy a Mac?  My dog even turns his nose up at a MacDonald Burger.
