Why wait for societal collapse? I think societal collapse is not like the second coming.  Society, I am afraid, is going to be more organized, consolidated and patterned with the forces of globalization. It adjusts itself with the change of time and the demands of the new generation.  I am too optimistic!

The more important question that you need to ask of yourself. is why do you wish for Societal Collapse? Also are you seeking this on a macro or micro level. If macro, then a societal collapse is not imminent. For micro considerations, there are always mini-collapses in play and horrendous misery ensues.
