Do Models Get Paid 4 figures = $ 20,000 OR 5 figures = $ 200,000 OR 6 figures = $ 2,000,000 OR Do It Range From 4 to 5 to 6 ???

And How Do Models Get Paid ? Do They Get Paid Per Photo Shoot, Per Runway Shows OR Per Number Of Runway Shows.... OR What ?

Here's what I know from my research and brief modeling stint (apparently one needs to feel comfortable in front of the camera... ;)

Getting started is awful and a process and it probably won't ever work out. If you do get that lucky break, you won't see those kinds of numbers unless you are super famous and every designer wants to use your face and body to see their clothes. They pay you per shoot or event or whatever you are hired for. That's why you have an agent; they figure this out for you. BUT--don't get screwed by your agent either. Watch the commission rate. I have no idea what is an acceptable amount, but I remember hearing horror stories of agent (of the slimeball variety) that s***w you in the contract.

It's a tough business, one which I am glad I never really got into. Between the pressures of staying thin, drugs, agents, finding work, traveling, and competition, well... I'd rather not. That's just me though. :)
