How Much Money Do You Need For One Week In Jamaica?

I was considering taking a trip to Jamaica in the first part of August. Any idea how much spending money you need to be there about 5 or 6 nights? Aside from the money for the hotel? Also, has anyone met any pretty gals down in Jamaica?

to answer your first question i did it on 600 dollars once but i live cheap and do not live with al the big comforts i stay in a hospice in new kingston and i live very cheap if your looking to stay in a fancy hotel then we are talking 1500-2000 at the lowest amount for a 5 day trip, but you could keep it below 1500 in a hotel if you learn the economy and change your money to Jamaican dollars, many people will try to rip you off you need to understand what the prices for things are and this takes time and experince in the country and research before you go helps,  but the more money you have the better i would say you are safer with 3,500 in your pocket for security reasons ((not in your pocket its a metaphor!!!)) but i wasnt includeing plane fare a round trip ticket is about 4-500 round trip pending on what deals you can find i get a speacial deal with air jamaica so last time i inly paid 3-4 hundred, hope this helps you ... oh yes there are very preety gyals in jam,

As a rule, a single guy in Jamaica ( to have a great time ) would need about $100 per day....I would take MORE than less, so you don't run out too fast. 5 days I would take $800, perhaps $1000. That pays drinks, taxi's, phone cards, snacks/food, and of course the ladies....

Careful of the women, they're smooth talkers & will give EVERY sob story under the sun to get in your wallet. They are BEAUTIFUL though, so you'll be rubbernecking ALOT. Remember too, the minimum wage for a week is $50, so any girl you hook up with should be ok with THAT amount...unless she's a "working girl", and she'll ask for twice that. If you take her for the night, hide valubles & your wallet. And use condoms !!! They suck, I know, but aids is everywhere and you can't tell looking at a person if they have HIV & not full blown aids !

As for the money. it will depend on whether you are at an all-inclusive or ordinary hotel. I have never been a tourist in Jamaica as I live here but around $1,000 can perhaps do if you go on 2 or 3 tours and buy one gift to bring back for someone. Can also get you a few nights in a club.

As far as chicks are concerned... ones bought with money usually cause long-term problems.

Great time to go,lots of girls right before school starts.....rainy season, so action is around the bar. Try hedonism if you like action.

i dont think u can never have enuff in jamaica.but work wid the jamaican dollar instead of the american dollar.no where u at then.id say 400 to 500 for a whale of a time.no corners cut or spared.....
