  1. are you putting it your transmission if you are buy gear savers gear oil and on the gearbox their should be a little glass window fill it up to the top of that

  2. thats one old bike!

sounds a little broken down. maby buy a  new dirtbike!

you would be supprised what they handle like!

  3. I just did an oil change on my 4-wheeler and was looking at all the choices for oil.  My quad is 21 years newer than your bike, but I would have to say that you could still run the same oil that I bought.  Look for anything that says that it is for motorcycles and will work well for a wet clutch.  As far as the amount, my quad took a little over 2 quarts, so yours would probably be right around there.  Another thing that I would recommend is adding some Lucas Oil Stabilizer when you do your oil change.  If your bike will hold 2 quarts of oil, put all but about 12 ounces of oil in, and substitute the 12 ounces with 12 ounces of the stabilizer.  They sell a synthetic and non-synthetic formula.

  4. You need the owners manual. Ebay maybe a good source for one. Otherwise any honda dealership will order and sell you one. I bet hondaminitrail.com has one. Don't just put anything in it! Better yet get the service manual, it has all the info you will ever need for your bike.
