I want to make my own windmill. How Much windmill energy can I expect to get?

depends a lot on the wind belt you are in.

You may want to write to the geological survey //meteorological office of your area to find out the following:

1. the wind belt you are in

2.whether your place has free flow of winds,, or is some how shielded by near by structures

3. Amount and force/speed of winds in your area

4. wind direction(s).. u need to place your wind mill in the most suitable place & direction

Moreover, the size & type of the wind mill and it's vanes make huge difference
