How do you think it would cost to invert my strings on my acoustic guitar Iv'e been playing upside down for a while now and iv'e allready learnt lots upside down

  1. It shouldn't cost too much, just re-string the guitar yourself and it would be free. Although you might want to buy new strings.


  2. Depends.  Electric or acoustic?  Acoustic would require replacing the nut, saddle and the bridge.  Electric, just the nut.  Of course, the guitar would have to be adjusted for intonation.  Quite a bit of pocket change.  Rates will vary with location.  Check with a luthier.

  3. Why don't you just flip the strings and the bridge yourself?  You are going to s***w up the guitar anyway, so why pay a Lutier to do it for you?  Even Paul McCartney didn't flip the strings on the old Ephphany of his because he liked the guitar and didn't like the sound when he flipped the strings.
